I am cataloguing my music collection and found a disc called The Blues Box CD 1. It is on Disky and the title, catalogue number and barcode bring noting with regard to results and after going through the first seventeen pages of the labels content I lost the will to live and gave up.

Disky is/was a part of the very curious budget label ecosystem with lots of their compilations being offered in supermarkets, drug-stores, DIY-stores and other places whose sales were/are not counted towards any of the national charts. Lots of bang for your buck actually, especially after the advent of Napster when some of their multi-disc compilations offered 5+ discs for 10€. They also didn't fall into the trap of putting in-house covers on the disks like Arcade and others did.

I agree with Skulls8 that the licensing of those massive compilations are sometimes suspect and it wouldn't be the first time that some company claims to have secured the publishing rights to the released material while not having done so (like the infamous San Juan Music Group).

Total bootleg rip off label. I'm sure not a single artist is getting paid anything. Avoid!
