Takt Music

Polish cassette manufacturer and label operating under this name between 1991 and 1994.
Initially a blank cassette manufacturer, Takt Music was established after taking over Tact in 1991. Takt Music continued reissuing their releases, keeping the original Tact catalog numbers and partially their trademark design. Subsequent Takt Music releases continued to use a similar design and the same numbering sequence for catalog numbers (the only exception are releases labeled as "Gauss Passed" recorded in the Gauss Passed HX Pro Dolby System, with a catalog number starting with the XCD prefix).
Most of the audio material used for duplication was sourced from CDs purchased in Western Europe, mainly Germany.

The company was renamed to TAKT when the "golden age" of polish pirate cassettes ended with the Copyright And Related Rights Act issued on 4 February 1994, thus making their operations illegal. As TAKT, the company continued to operate as a cassette duplication and manufacturing facility, later expanding its portfolio by offering CD, DVD, and more recently vinyl manufacturing.

Cassettes usually come with generic Takt Music shells (branded pad print, different designs), blank A/B side stickers (branded, generic, or pre-printed with release information), or custom pad print with release information - see images). However, due to a production overlap, Takt Music releases can also come with Tact cassettes (paper labels or blank stickers) - see pictures in the Tact profile), probably because an old stock of blanks was still largely available when the company was being rebranded in 1991.

Due to Takt Music's popularity at the time, several manufacturers (mainly from Eastern Europe and Russia) used the company's name and logo (or variations) on their releases:
- For counterfeit Takt Music releases, use Takt Music (2) (?) or Takt Music (3) (Russia)
- For Tak! (Poland), use Tak! Cassette
- For Takt Gold (Russia), use Takt Gold
