Disques SNB Ltée.

Profile:

Audio mastering studio (also known as S.N.B., SNB, SNB Mastering, SNB Mastering Studio and SNB Mastering Labs), founded in 1973 by Sabin Brunet in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It was originally called Les Disque SNB Mastering Ltée, but was incorporated in 2006 and changed its name to Les Disque SNB Mastering Inc. In 2008, merged into Pure Mastering, in St-Calixte, Quebec, operated by Guy St-Onge. The studio has kept its phone number and address but has abandoned the SNB name and website.

The studio operated a Neumann SP tape to disk transfer console, a VMS-70 computer lathe with Neumann cutter heads.

When credited in the runouts as 'SnB' or 'SNB', use Lacquer Cut At. Sometimes etched as SNB 230 or 230 SNB, "230" was a code used at SNB to indicate lacquer cuts for Philips/Phonogram/PolyGram. When credited in liner notes, used the same credit (Lacquer Cut At or Mastered At) in the LCCN section.
