Bionic Recordings

Bionic Recordings

Profile:
Defunct (Cardiac Music lists it as "inactive") Dutch Hardcore label which started out releasing "experimental" Trancecore in 2001 (like the old Cenobite Records releases). But after the sixth release the label changed its sound to become a mainstream Hardcore label, with new artists like Prowler, D-Dr!ve and Archetype (2), as well as established artists like Ophidian, Endymion, Nexes, Hamunaptra, Nosferatu and even The Viper.

It is unclear in which direction Bionic Recordings wants to proceed. Prowler, Archetype and D-Dr!ve joined the label, but also artists like Ophidian, Tapage, Nosferatu, Endymion, The Viper and The Wishmaster released tracks on Bionic Recordings. It seems to me it has become a label of which you never know what's going to be next. It seems to be a mainstream-orientated label for the productions who don't fit the Enzyme label.

Nice label from the Cardiac Crew.

It started as a trancecore label in the line of the famous Cenobite label. Though it didn't really work out and they made some changes in order to maintain the label.

The label started getting more populair with the guest release of Endymion and the following three releases. But after the sixth release Ferox & Ki-real stopped producing for the label and went their own way.

Cardiac found some new artists for the label so it could continue but for me it lost it's touch with the new direction they wend.
