Publishing company, affiliated to ASCAP. It is a division of Universal Music Publishing Group, and its main purpose is a sub-publishing of foreign music works (written by foreign songwriters not directly affiliated to, but represented in the U.S. by ASCAP) controlled by any of the international subsidiaries of Universal Music Publishing Group. Created in 1999 when Universal acquired PolyGram International Publishing, Inc.
