I'm aware of all the politics and reasoning behind repressing and not repressing newer tunes, but PLEEEEEASE lets advocate for a repress of 001 through 004. The world needs more headz playing these tunes on wax, rather than a small minority inflating prices to collectors where it'll just accumulate dust on a shelf. Incredible label pushing DnB forward into legendary realms.
Edit: spelling.

Every release on this label is nothing other than quality underground Jungle / Drum and Bass. All the people at Rupture really do care about the music and this shows in their releases and quality club nights where you can hear some cutting edge beats and classic underground tunes under one roof. If you don't know get to know !

Christ on a bicycle with a sidecar! How did I miss this label? Returning to DnB after a 10 year break (2004-2014) I was skeptical of new drum n bass. You know how it is with old timers, been there done that, how good can it be, I walked 50 miles uphill in snow, you kids don't understand....Boy was I so fucking wrong and proud of the fact that I was! Just picked up 3 releases (Rumbleton, Double O EP, and Overlook) superbly produced tracks, quality releases (with full on artwork no less!), and just dark enough but not overbearingly dark and the beats- holy hell the beats! These guys are doin' it right! When I think back to what I liked about certain eras- Source Direct circa 94-96, Virus Records when they first started....it all comes rushing back but sounding new and fresh. Loving it.
