Label operated by the pseudonym Dean Cole who is also the fake identity behind the releases as artist User (4).
User has an offshoot label 00A where the releases with catalog numbers ending with the letter 'A' belong. According to the distributor, Integrale Muzique, the releases are 'with huge support from worldwide DJs' - sounds like remixing.
Some releases on User were produced by a different pseudonym Richard Harvey.

March 9, 2022If you raved in the late 90s you danced to these cuts, period. Distinctly techno, but many of them fit perfectly into the peak moments of a good house set, too.
And for a moment, can we appreciate that to this day (March 2022), nobody has ever owned up to writing even one of them? It was one thing to be anonymous in 98/99, but to keep the identity hidden for 20 years is pretty impressive indeed.
If the detective considers the distributor (Integrale Muzique), their location (Birmingham) and overall sound of the EPs ... it's always pointed to the Integrale Muzique / B'ham crew and extended family/friends as the producers of the User EPs. At that point, a lot of the Birmingham et al. stuff was made in a single studio (read this in an interview back when) and the signal chain from drum machine/synth through effects through the main board played a large role in giving it a somewhat similar sound. If you ask me there is unmistakable crossover, and several of the samples and drum sounds used in the User tracks are nearly identical to tracks released about the same time from Regis / Female / Surgeon / Function / Sims / Jarvis / Vernol / Turner / Cole / etc. (esp. Function, if you ask me). Dean Cole definitely played a role, but I think the named "Richard Harvey" is an alias for all the other producers.
I've looked for answers to this question for years. If anyone reading this knows more about it, or knows for a fact I am WRONG, please message me.
