Profile:

Vinyl plating and pressing as well as tape duplication plant in Owosso, Michigan, USA. Operating from 1952 until 1972, mainly for Motown Records. Pressings can be identified by an "ARP" " 𝒜ℛ𝒫" " stamped in italics into the runouts. The plant burned down on October 28, 1972 and was never re-erected. ARP was a wholly owned subsidiary of Viewlex, Inc. together with the three other pressing plants Sonic Recording Products, Inc., Allentown Record Co. Inc., and Monarch Record Mfg. Co.).

Also, some Atlantic/Atco 45's of 1967-68 were pressed by American Record Pressing of Owosso, MI; these pressings bore an "-AM" suffix on the label.
