This series "MTV Braun Eurocharts" started it's first release on CD in May of 1993.
After the other illegal series that also were available at the time called "Chartbusters", MTV had taken over by part 10 (October 1994). That was also the very last illegal "Chartbusters" CD that came out.
MTV did go on for years !
Although the fact they were caught a few times, they ruled the series until halfway 2003.
There are some 'hard to get parts like "July 1993", "March 1994" and especially "October 1999" because there were not many on the market. That was because they were heavy caught these times.
Also some 10 to 15 other titles for illegal compilation CD's were on the Dutch market in the years from 1992-2008.
These illegal CD's were made and transported in the South of the Netherlands.
Many people thought these were other people but they were exactly the same.
It was just that it looks better, and some people would like to have them all.
