Hungarian label, imprint of Magyar Hanglemezgyártó Vállalat (M.H.V.); established in 1951 (and initially known as Tonalit).

Most dominant in late 50's and 60's.
Distributed Classical Music until 1967 (when Hungaroton was created) and Popular [Jazz/Pop/Rock] Music until 1970 (when Pepita was created).
Afterwards, it acted out as sub-label for folk music only, until its dissolution in 1991.
