Disques Debs

Profile:	Founded by Henri Debs. Ended in 1984 to create Debs. Throughout its existence, Disques Debs was arguably the most important label of the French-speaking Caribbean, playing a major role in popularizing beguine, zouk, and compas music. Releases were manufactured both in France and Barbados (the latter by West Indies Records (Barbados) Ltd.) for distribution around the world. Consider adding also Disques Debs International as 2nd label if it appears on the release.
