One of the most under-rated/ under-appreciated label, of 90's breakbeat hardcore style. The first 15 releases of the label (before it went happy hardcore), are all great, fast breakbeats, dark sounds, wicked samples, ruff tunes, especially the 1993 tunes, and very well produced tracks. It is also way superior to its previous ''Dance Bass Records'' from '92, as the breakbeats/samples and mastering of the tracks is much clearer and the sound more polished here.
Another impressive thing is that almost all tunes, are done by just 1 producer, Julian Cobb . A phenomenal producer inmo.
This label sound be there among the big names of the scene such as Moving Shadow, Reinforced, Formation, etc....

Was the first release BOGWOPPA 02 on this label?!?! There doesn't appear to be an 01? Weird.

Anyway, excellent label providing a range of nutty, off-kilter Hardcore madness!

The first two releases by Undercover Elephant on this label are, IMHO, truly seminal in their ability to create a soundstage at a rave. Atmospheric doesn't quite cover it. The combination of jungle, darkness and a hardcore sound all in one made these records something quite special. Can't recommend them enough!

A very underrated breakbeat/hardcore label. Tunes like Come Rudebwoy, Jungle Squirrel (Remix) and Voodoo (to name but a few) should have been in at least one of the many breakbeat/hardcore compilations available in the market. Respect to Julian Cobb, Bogwoppa's owner/main producer.Bam!!!
