Is this music public domain or do they get the agreement of the rights holders when reissuing old music like this? It looks like at least one of the releases has been blocked for sale because of a copyright claim. It seems like it would be almost impossible to get authorization for some of the compilations with so many artists on them.

I wish their releases would stay in print longer. I'm missing five titles and they have gotten quite expensive.

I find Dust To Digital to be the most interesting Label of all time. I started collecting their releases probably 10 years ago not knowing anything about the label. I enjoy pre WWII blues and lots of other kinds of music. This is Roots Music from around the world, the spectrum this label covers is incredible. I've fallen in love many times over and have even had my heart broken. I probably have a dozen of their releases and plan on getting more, I really want them all.

          this label is KOOOOOOOL.
i mean you will almost never be in the mood to hear this.
but if it comes into play by happenstance, your esteem improves.
