In 2024, the label proudly introduced its own subgenre, dubbed ErrorCore, a POST-IDM evolution that blends melodic glitches, playful yet intricate rhythms, and experimental textures. This genre reflects the label's ethos of pushing boundaries while retaining accessibility and emotional depth. Artists on the roster, including Enabl.ed, Hasbeen, G.E.C, Gpakreep, Nora & Tess, rinse.repeat, Memory Leak and more, actively explore and shape this sound, making Clean Error a hub for both emerging and seasoned talent to experiment and evolve.
Clean Error underwent a significant transformation in late 2023, with a new logo debuting in December and a complete rebranding of its visual identity in January 2024. The refreshed look extends beyond the logo, encompassing cover art that reflects the label's storytelling ambitions. Each release contributes to a collective narrative of a dystopian city, a futuristic setting where the music serves as a vivid, auditory tapestry.
