Pye International started in November 1958, mainly for licensed recordings from foreign labels for the UK market, including Chess, A&M, Kama Sutra, Colpix, Warner Bros., Buddah, 20th Century, and King. It also released recordings from British artist Labi Siffre which were produced outside the company. Shut down in 1979.
Pye International singles are signified by the 7N.25000 series (except the Norwegian 7"s),
Pye International EPs are signified by the NEP 44000 series,
Pye International mono LPs are signified by the NPL 28000 series,
Pye International stereo LPs are signified by the NSPL 28000, and
Pye International 12"s are signified by the 7NL 25000 series.
