I wish all these reissues were handled by Dark Entries instead

Ive got all of the Blackway/B.W.H/Casco/Mr. Master releases from this label. They are vinyl onto vinyl pressings. Some sound good, some don't.

Pretty, high quality cover art, but audio is of the worst quality.

Hey Folks, today i went to the Shop to get the Gloria Ann Taylor - Deep Inside You. The Cut is so low and the price so high. Somebody knows shit about mastering and even how to make profit, because in that small amout of copys you will propably can pay your Fixcosts and and your electricity bill. Even more worst that the original Artist is just ignored. I am a DJ and I love Disco. Italo from the 80ties has a lot of great producers and the scene was very alive. The Original Pressings are also mostly tight like Sabrinas Ass. So I checked aswell the Kroma - Sexy Films, it´s a very catchy Song finally after 32 Years a Repress? No a Bootleg. Because i don´t feel this on AFRON. I checked aswell Mr.Master and Lectric Workers. Same low Level. As a Vinyl only DJ I will not play this because Vinyl means Quality. If you are a Discogs Speculator: GOOD LUCK.

Hi, I don't have a copy of Decadance so I can't give my opinion about.
But I have both first original pressing and ARFON reissue of Blackway & Helene (Music For Us) and compared in a pro audio system I have to say that the reissue sounds better and cleaner. I'm a friend of the record producer (Stefano Zito) and we had a listening session together with the same opinion.
He also explained that for the first release on M.R.A. they had some troubles with the pressing plant during the manufacturing process so labels are bad pressed and the audio is a little dirty.
If you want to save some money for the first pressing, the ARFON will suite well for your needs.

Based on reviews here both the Blackway and Decadance reissues are badly mastered and pressed. (My copy of the Blackway and Helene repress is effectively unplayable.) Can someone from AFM comment? Can't understand why they were sent out to shops. These records are expensive (c. $20+ each plus shipping.) Tragic situation given how great - and elusive - the originals are. Mr. Master, BWH and Kroma to come ...

Based on reviews on Discogs the AFM reissues of the Decadance and Blackways 12"s seem to have been very badly remastered/pressed. Can anyone from AFM explain if there was/is a problem? Especially as the repress are relatively expensive - especially when you include shipping.
