It is going to be interesting to see what the fire at the Banning plant will lead to. Due to the fact that the vinyl business greatest fear is the loss of either Apollo or MDC gets shut down or (as in this case) might burn down. Well now it has happened. The whole vinyl industry is dependent on these two companies and now, as the worst case scenario indeed did happen, it might cripple the manufacturing of new vinyl in the future to come, or at least it will make some huge cue in getting new vinyl pressed. It all depends on how much there is in stock at the pressing plants. As soon as these run out and no replacement has been made, it can seem critical for the vinyl business.
Let´s pray.
