- The greatest indie label of all time. They churned out everything from raging punk rock (Dead Milkmen, Screamin' Sirens, TSOL) to mellow indie rock (The Smithereens, Scott Goddard) to spry synth-pop (SSQ, The Pool, Bardeux) to dark goth rock (45 Grave) to just plain weird (John Trubee), and it was all pure gold. The Enigma Variations collections are a good place to start to familiarize yourself with the label's many different sounds. As far as specific album recommendations, I'd say track down SSQ's "Playback" first and foremost, followed by 45 Grave's "Sleep In Safety" and Bardeux's "Bold As Love" (on Synthicide, a sublabel).
