Filed as a Domestic for Profit Corporation Tuesday, July 30, 1974, and sometimes appears as Miami Tape or Miami Tapes.
Miami Tape also had a special way to add the vinyl mastering dates in the runouts (e.g. D-S-ND). Because one of their clients didn't want the date to appear, Miami Tape made a up a special code, partially using Spanish numbers:
X = 0
U = 1
D = 2
T = 3
K = 4
C = 5
S = 6
Z or 2 = 7
O = 8
N = 9
UX = 10
UU = 11
UD = 12
The pattern is usually: M-D-Y or M-DD-Y or MM-D-Y or MM-DD-Y or MM-DD-YY.
N-N-C = Nove Nove Cuatro = 9-9-74
UX-DC-OU = Uno Cero-Dos Cinquo-Ocho Uno = 10-15-81
T-D2-2 = Tres-Dos Siete-Siete = 3-2-87
U-DC-N = Uno-Dos Cinquo-Nueve = 1-15-90
D-UN-NT = Dos-Uno Nueve-Nueve Tres = 2-19-93
2-DS-NN = Siete-Dos Seis-Nueve Nueve = 7-26-99
The system was given up after 1999.
