Dalriada Records is a label brought to you from the nice chaps at Glasgow’s Rubadub Record shop. They have been selling quality electronic music to the world for over 12 years now. They also run the club they call 69, whose guests read like a who’s who of techno and electronic music.

The label is dedicated to releasing music which will stand the test of time, from new and preferably local talent.

The Marcia Blaine School for Girls are considered by many to be the hottest electronic act, to come out of a thriving Glasgow scene. Their first EP on Dalriada (BROCH-01) sold out of its first press almost immediately and has since become a highly sought after record. This ep should receive even greater admiration, and will become equally collectable after the first and only limited press of 300.

The Marcia Blaine crew definitely have their own recognisable sound - electronic music which displays the vast musical talents behind the group, delivered with emotion and a passion which is undeniable. The tracks on the ‘ Dens & Gods EP’ bear relation to what can be seen from Marcia’s studio window where the tracks were conceived. Namely ‘ Neds and Dogs’. A true slice of Nu-Urban ‘Dalriada’ transposed to vinyl.
