It was April 2000 when Albert Pöschl, Ralf Summer and Noe Noack decided to found a recordlabel. Today they reside with Echokammer and their own recording studios in Munich (Giesing). The guys' main interest was at first the publishing and release of their own music productions, of course. But they also gather and encourage a bunch of various friendly musicians and artists. Echokammer's present releases are characterized by a immensely wide range of different sounds but they all reflect one central concept in one and the same way: the soundrecordings are always kept simple and easy to survey. The audience will never be led into the tone- and sound-worlds of pompous, expensive studios because - and that's the point - it's a chamber (i.e. Kammer)-thing!
Besides independence and autonomy this way of producing guarantees echokammer a quick realization of musical ideas and plans. At the moment none of the Echokammer-acts is playing with a (human) drummer. This fact also has obviously to do with the labels working philosophy stressing simplicity and swiftness (drummers can cost you so much time and space!!!) So all in all Echokammer's sound-pattern is primarily characterized by an up-to-date electronic orientation.
Another very delightful phenomenon is the fact that all the groups on Echokammer have already proven the live-on-stage-qualification of their music and performances.
And that's the way it has to be!
