Ballyhoo Studio Mastering has been mastering for clients since 1998 and is located north of Amsterdam. It is connected to the Deep Grooves pressing plant for all their mastering and has a broad range of international clients with music in genres like house, IDM, techno, electro, vaporwave, acid, disco, hiphop, drum'n bass, jungle, Italo, African, Indian (classic and modern dance), ethnic folk music, jazz, rock, pop, classical music, ambient etc. The owner is Johanz Westerman, who is also known as the artist Thee J Johanz. The studio works hybrid, but mainly with top notch hardware from GML, Manley, Pultec, Fairchild, Neve, Philips, Dangerous Music, Maselec and Therminonc Culture.
