German pressings (except where otherwise indicated) in my collection.
ECM Records (ECM = Editions of Contemporary Music) is a label based in Munich, founded in 1969 by Manfred Eicher.
In September 1984 the label launched the ECM New Series.
ECM 1300, 1301, 1313, 1376, 1400, 1414, 1441 and 1443 were never released on any form.
ECM 1302 (Spheres) was released only on CD, as a partial reissue of ECM 1086/87, reissued in full form in 2013.
ECM 1405 is a compilation released only on CD as ECM New Series.
ECM 1377, 1378, 1406, 1422/23, 1425, 1433/34, 1435, 1440, 1442, 1446, 1448, 1449, 1450, 1452-54, 1457, 1463, 1464,
and from 1467 on, were released only on CD.
From the year 2009 onwards, some new releases have also been issued on LP.
Starting January 2014 some releases have been reissued on LP under the Re:solutions imprint.
ECM 1525 (Officium) was reissued as a 2-LP set in October 2014; ECM 1432 (Barzakh) was reissued on LP in October 2017.
Since October 2016 the label is reissuing on LP titles from the back catalogue, having started with ECM 1047, 1089, 1102, 1110 and 1210.
Since April 2023, the label started Luminessence, an audiophile vinyl-reissue series, mostly cut from the original analog master tapes.
