For now we see through the vinyl, darkly

"βλέπομεν γὰρ ἄρτι δι' βινύλιο ἐν αἰνίγματι"

Very dark brown, grey, red, blue, and purple records - so dark that they appear at first to be black. But observant 'oggers may notice a faintly colored lustre and, holding it to the light for closer inspection, may notice that the record is not in fact opaque as expected. Are these records made from ultra-thin Dynaflex, ultra-recycled plastics, or otherwise ultra-low-grade materials? Are they the highest grade ultra-virgin vinyl or audiophile blends like Amex, Quiex, Quiex II, KC 569, or KC 600? Are they all from the 80s and 90s? Is this something anybody should care about and collect or is this a waste of community time and a corruption of the database? Let's find out.
