My favorite albums of all time. In no particular order.

  1. Marc Almond With The Willing Sinners - Mother Fist And Her Five Daughters

Deliciously seedy and fabulously well done, without a doubt my favorite Marc album (though 'Open All Night' is a close second)

  2. Attrition - The Hidden Agenda

Martin is an amazing composer and Julia's vocal are beyond amazing; operatic and stunning, a perfect foil for Martin's deep creepy (often whispered or spoken quietly) vocals. Some pure electronic music is boring and/or unoriginal. That is NOT the case with Attrition.

  3. Bauhaus - The Sky's Gone Out

The critics for the most part were never kind to Bauhaus, but I think this album is still a stunner!

  4. Blondie - Plastic Letters

The Marilyn Monroe of New Wave/punk... This is, was and will probably always be my favorite Blondie album.

  5. David Bowie - Scary Monsters

Though many would argue for 'Ziggy Stardust' or maybe 'Aladdin Sane', this is still my fave.

  6. Kate Bush - Hounds Of Love

I can sum this up in one word: Exquisite!!!

  7. Christian Death - "Ashes"

If only they could have continued on in this vein... With Rozz! This album is the best they got and a real jewel in Christian Deaths rotten crown.

  8. Cocteau Twins - Treasure

Parts of it may sound a bit dated, but it still raises the hair on the back of my neck!

  9. The Cure - Pornography

Lock yourself alone in a dark room for a day with this album and you'll never see the world the same again. And will you ever be happy again?

  10. Current 93 - Thunder Perfect Mind

David comes off as a bit of an eccentric genius (and a really NICE guy!), this album is the perfect realization of his themes and musings. Absolute perfection sprawling over two discs.

  11. Kirlian Camera - Invisible Front. 2005

    11 For Sale from $5.62

Could have as easily Picked 'Still Air' really it's a tie...
