  1. Black Flag - Damaged

    American original hardcore

  2. Beastie Boys - Aglio E Olio

    Punk Beastie Boys

  3. Rudimentary Peni - Cacophony

UK Punk (won't find this on Spotify!)

  4. Crass - Stations Of The Crass

    Classic UK anarchic punk

  5. Butthole Surfers - Locust Abortion Technician

Might be a bit of a difficult listen first time, classic really out there psychedelic punk

  6. Bog-Shed - Let Them Eat Bog Shed

One of my favorite records, quite obscure mid eighties post-punk

  7. Wire - Pink Flag

If you listen to the first two Wire LPs you'll hear everything that went on to become Indie pop and Brit pop.

  8. Can - The Singles

This is a really good intro to Can and Krautrock

  9. The Cramps - ...Off The Bone

Good intro to the Cramps, very influential and totally different to other punk bands.

  10. The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion!* - Orange

    Classic LP by Jon Spencer.

  11. Meat Puppets - Meat Puppets II

This is where Nirvana got some of their sound from

  12. The Kinks - The Kinks Are The Village Green Preservation Society

60's English that gave Blur their sound.

  13. The Mummies - Never Been Caught

This is so utterly punk rock but in a really low budget and more attitude way, you should watch them on youtube from the early 90s, live in New York is a good video, absolutely mental.

  14. Frank Zappa - Apostrophe (')

If there is one Frank Zappa LP you should listen to it's this.

  15. Ween - God Ween Satan - The Oneness

Every Ween LP is different, there's a country one, pop, sea shanty, all good in their own way, this is the first LP.

  16. Melt-Banana - Cell-Scape

Absolutely mental Japanese punk rock, they were brilliant live as well.

  17. Thee Headcoats - Headcoatitude

I have all of their hundreds of records! Very English art punk rock.

  18. PiL* - Metal Box

I think this is a total classic LP, post punk and slightly krautrock.

  19. Hawkwind - Warrior On The Edge Of Time

This was the band Lemmy was in before Motorhead, very English hippy almost krautrock, Hawkwind did a lot of records and have had a lot of different band members so there is quite a difference in quality of some of the LPs, erly seventies are usually good with others also good throughout the eighties.

  20. The Sisters Of Mercy - First And Last And Always

Original line up of the band and basically very Leeds, very cult and very Goth!

  21. Bauhaus - In The Flat Field

    Very cult music, post-punk gothic.

  22. X-Ray Spex - Germfree Adolescents

    54 For Sale from $24.72

I put this on because I've been getting back into x-rat specs recently! UK punk.

  23. The Fall - Grotesque (After The Gramme)

One of my favourites, UK post-punk from Manchester, I think this was their best LP.
