A good pressing.
Original 1993 Europe lp is way better.

Just put this on for the first time probably since purchasing. My favorite Plant album but this is not a great presentation. Record is noisy in spots, and overall it's very bright and sterile-sounding. I'm glad I own it as it appears to be a vinyl rarity (and I got it at the original price of $30), but I'd love for someone to take another stab at this one. It's not a disaster, but if you're on the fence, with these prices I would wait for it to be done right.

For what’s its worth my copy plays beautifully ( it’s been cleaned) , although a little quiet it’s great for a 60+ mins album

My sealed copy has a visible surface scratch from the factory covering the first track and loose swarf and residue. It needed a good wet clean. So poor QC at the pressing plant :-S. Thankfully, it doesn’t affect play which is a relief. I’ve always loved this album’s big sounding “Kashmir” inspired production. This is the most Zeppelin like of RP’s solo albums IMO. Though this RSD release sounds sterile and pretty anaemic. By comparison, the OG CD is far better sounding with more solid and deeper bass plus it’s far more dynamic and alive. I bought this RSD edition upon release when it was affordable. The asking price of these and the OG Pressing nowadays is ridiculous! I agree with others here that it was a missed opportunity to release it as a double LP and ideally, cut from the master tapes. At these prices given the mediocre sound, it may be better to wait for hopefully, a future and better done remaster.

Yeah you need to turn this up to get better fidelity if you want to call it that. The original was only 1 lp also back in 94 so nothing's changed. I do really like this album though and am happy to have it on vinyl even with lesser quality. Sounds better thru phones than speakers.

Hi - Bought this LP brand new, in Sept 1993 in London, just realised it has no inner sleeve, anyone else buy it without an inner sleeve?

My copy looks like shit, the sound is nice but noisy between tracks
