DJ Kentaro's ENTER ranks pretty high amongst the party albums that you throw on when everyone stands around, listless. From the complex funk breaks of "Keep On" to the wild disco ride of "Free," there's always a sense of fun to the beats and the samples. How can you not love the pan drums and steel pedal guitar of "Handmade Gift"? Even the wobbly drum 'n' bass and quick-fire rhymes from New Flesh on "Rainy Day" keep things upbeat, and the density of "Space Jungle" will have you picking apart the layers for hours. "Trust" is schizophrenic funk, while "One Hand Blizzard" has a mysterious quality to it. It's all great fun, wrapped up in a speedy, easy-to-digest package.
