Bad pressing with some non-fill on track A1 and small pits and other defects on side 1. There is also some distortion in the right channel on a couple of songs on side 1. Side 2 plays reasonably well. Great album, disappointed with the lack of quality control on the vinyl.

Brilliant record..well mastered and pressed..this should be the minimum standard of quality for a $20 record...why can't the bigger labels get their shit together?

This is a great album and the mastering is fantastic. I've heard these songs dozens of times digitally but on vinyl I've heard things I never heard previously. Unfortunately, and maybe it's just my copy, but the pressing is terrible. Very noisy. Side A is especially bad as I can literally watch the needle swinging back and forth on each revolution. Not only does this also distort the sound but I'm honestly amazed the needle manages to stay in the track. Seriously considering trying to get a refund.

Really beautiful album about maturation, and the difficulties that come with your early 20s. The instrumentation is exquisite, and Sarah is quite gifted, playing several of the parts herself. The vocals are excellent throughout, and fit the somber mood of the record. Her voice is like honey on top of the lush melodies she conjures. This album is truly a folk/alt country gem, and I believe anyone hearing it for the first time will marvel at Jarosz' dark yet hopeful songwriting, and clever arrangements. Growing up isn't easy, but this gives me something to latch onto amidst the confusion of it.
