Wonderful record very happy to stumble across a copy in Rough Trade East. Does anyone know whether it comes with the artwork of Bruce's ex or comes in a plain black sleeve by default? Mine came in a plain black sleeve so was wondering

A really excellent record - Bruce is one of the most interesting producers around at the moment, and a very thoughtful and articulate guy at that. It has to be said that Idle Hands releasing records like this once again proves it's importance and vitality for underground dance music (mostly) coming out of Bristol. The A-side explores some interesting ideas and sunlit/pensive moods and definitely feels more 'organic' that a lot of modern dance music does. The B1 is a lovely ambient track, nicely dissonant and yearning in it's own way.. I have been playing it a lot. Summer's Gotta End Some Time is a ethereal and otherworldly track, again feeling very organic and 'breathing' as it were - though I have to say for me this bears more resemblance to the 'techno' coming out of London and further afield in mainland Europe; agile, tight, exploratory but ultimately still very functional. All in all this is definitely one of the highlights of 2016 for me and I hope Idle Hands and Bruce continue to release more records together if they are all of the same quality as this!

One of the big musical highlights of the year. So incredibly emotive, distinctive and unique, unlike much UK stuff coming out at the moment. Bruce makes sounds like no one else that are such a signature to him, and it's amazing to see how well he moves across labels, bringing different textures and pallets, fitting in perfectly with each respective catalogue. More music needs have such brazen displays of meaning behind it too.
