Reviews
- Absolutely amazing pressing. Mine has zero surface noise, is flat and looks great. Totally recommended.
- Edited 5 months agoGrabbed this color version today. The other 2 are coming hopefully soon. The sound quality is really really good. A tiny bit of surface noise on Side A track 1. I turned the volume up and just cranked thru all 4 sides. I think it's a high quality pressing. No complaints. I'm happy to finally have it in my Ulver vinyl discography.

Can music this Digital as Ulver's 99-05 discography even sound good on vinyl ? Or better than CD ? Thinking Metamorphosis EP; Perdition CIty and the two SIlence Albums and the movie sound tracks especially. Any thoughts or insights ?- I didn’t know that this was a soundtrack when I first heard it. I was looking for black metal recommendations, and after hearing the “Bergtatt” album, this was next in line. The opening track, “Lost In Moments” is very haunting. It’s quite unusual to pair electronic music with big beats and saxophone. And when the vocal enters, it adds another dimension to the music. Since this is a soundtrack, expect songs for various moods, as “Hallways of Always” is very unnerving, “The Future Sound Of Music” is a cacophony of various sounds all mixed together at the end. Sort of what Steven Wilson does in “Sound of Muzak”. “Catalept” explores what Ugress also did with electronic music. Mixing actual instruments with drum machines. “Nowhere/Catastrophe” almost returns Ulver to their roots in black metal, but only almost.
