Reviews
- Absolutely great remastered sound, deep and clear, without noises. Great pressing and one of my favorite Ulver work (with Perdition city and Shadows of the sun). Highly recommended !

'Not saved': a mind-bending earworm of lupine quintessence. Not saved, saved not.- The opening track for this EP is a mammoth! at 24 minutes it is longer than any other Ulver tracks. But that’s why it’s so great. It’s very dark and features samples from scissor cutting, paper ripping and harddrives overheating. And that’s before the vocal cut in for even more depth. “Darling Didn’t We Kill You” is another haunting track. Just the same synth loop over and over, gradually expanding with more beats, skips, breaks and all they could throw in there i guess:) “Speak Dead Speaker” is another song about destruction, futility(at least that’s what seems to be the theme.) It has a violin sampled at the end. The last track, “Not Saved”, is also very moody, basically just a loop that stretches on forever, and has layers added and removed on the way. Much like the next(and final!) album.
- Edited 8 years agoThis album was on my "albums i wish existed on vinyl" list for a very long time, so when it showed up, I grabbed it, and honestly I'm glad I did, because it's amazing stuff and I doubt I'll ever get sick of it... it's just that evocative and unique.
