Harmonia – Deluxe

I absolutely love this record. Gronland (again) did a really fine job. Fantastic sounding album with no defects. Clear sound full of bass and life (if that is possible with this kind of electronic music). Really, get this one if you are in doubt. Cheap but amazing quality! Love that independent Groenland label.

Great sounding pressing on green brain label contemporary with the original german release.

Deluxe was the second record for Harmonia. On this album, Mani Neumeier from Guru Guru plays drums on some tracks, so only two tracks use the analog drum machine. The three members all contribute vocals, though the album is heavily instrumental. The compositions are more complex than on their debut, and the end result is both spacey/trippy and pastoral, charming and innovative.

Playing this again today - so fresh and so far ahead of it's time !!

My copy sounds fine but I`m missing the inner sleeve,just a plain white one.

There are incorrect letters on the back: immer weiter.
anyway, the sound is perfect.

Does anyone made the comparison from a sound perspective between the japanese paper sleeve edition on P-Vine (PCD-24481) and the japanese paper sleeve edition on Universal (UICY-9560)?

Yet another botch-up job by the person who "mastered" it, Willem Makkee, who botched-up the first Harmonia release on Groenland, and who botched-up numerous releases on Bureau B. There is a horrendous digital glitch within the first ten seconds of the track Notre Dame. You can even hear it on Groenland's YT clip of this track. Pathetic. No quality control. What a joke.

Mine is very well pressed and i am happily surprised by the quality of the non attractive "digital remastering" thats adverstised on the sticker. Very honest repress!

Sounds okay. Oh how I wish I could afford a 70's pressing of this fantastic album.
