Now 50 was released in November 2001, 2 months after 9/11.

      Compact Disc 1

      1. Kylie Minogue - Can't Get You Out of My Head: Great song.
      2. Westlife - Uptown Girl: Great cover, though it should have been on Now 48, as it was a hit in March for Comic Relief.
      3. DJ Otzi - Hey Baby: Great party track.
      4. Bob the Builder - Mambo No 5: Great version with new words about building. This was also number one during 9/11, and I remember it being banned from the radio shortly afterwards.
      5. Steps - Chain Reaction: Great cover.
      6. Five - Let's Dance: Great song, should have been the previous track ;).
      7. Sophie Ellis-Bextor - Take Me Home: Great cover of Cher.
      8. Wyclef Jean - Perfect Gentleman: Great song.
      9. City High - What Would You Do: Great track.
      10. Blue - If You Come Back: Great song.
      11. Nelly Furtado - Turn Off the Light: Great track.

      14. Alien Ant Farm - Smooth Criminal: Great cover.
      15. Sum 41 - Fat Lip: Great track.
      16. Wheatus - A Little Respect: Great cover, though it should have been on Now 49 as it was a hit in July.
      17. Travis - Sing: Great song, though it should have been on Now 49 as it was a hit in June.
      18. Jennifer Lopez - Ain't It Funny: Great track.
      19. Emma Bunton - Take My Breath Away: Not a cover of Berlin, but a great song.

        Just an update:-
Afroman - Because I Got High; isn't quite "censored", where the one or two of the profanity words are still there but you can hear them faintly...

CD 1; Track 4: Bob the Builder - Mambo No. 5; that song is an edited version. Because the album version is about 20 or 30 seconds longer. (If not mistaken)

Sophie Ellis-Bextor's "Take Me Home" is probably a special version for this compilation. I can't find any other place this 3:13 version appears – and you can hear a really bad edit at 2:39.

i have this and i must say it is one of my favorite compilation albums i have in my collection! too bad that nowadays music taste has changed a lot ... i miss the 90's decade and millenium releases! back then music was totally different than it is now tbh!

What is the version of "21 Seconds" they've used? It's 2:43, and the Radio Edit on the single was 3:54, which was also used on the Promo CD. I wonder if the Now! compilers edited it down specially?
