recorded April–December 1976 and released on January 21, 1977 in the UK and on February 12, 1977 in the U.S.

Can someone please explain to me that the significance or otherwise of the "17203" is. I have seen copies of this album with other 5-figure digits bit I cannot find out what they mean.

Sounds good overall but there's a lot of cracking not too noticeable but in the quieter parts it does show up

Really regret not returning this to Amazon.

The remix itself is fantastic, the vinyl however is one of the lowest quality pressings I have ever purchased. Lots of pops on both sides, even after cleaning. I then discovered lots of others experiencing this so didnt bother trying to get a replacement. Should of just got a refund.

Now there is a 2025 repress, will that be any better? Such a shame considering the sublime remix.

Really great pressing. It fixes all the issues found on the 2016 remaster. Everything is more clear and not distorted. The drums are clearly aligned and the bass is also smooth.

I think this pressing sounds excellent. I’ve heard a few original US pressings, and they sounded a bit flat. This is very dynamic with a great mix. Highly recommend!

My copy is horribly compressed. I'm not even sure how a CD could sound this bad unless it was poorly mastered. Any time a slightly loud noise happens the entire soundstage is completely crushed. It's nice to have a first pressing but I'll stick with my 2018 remix CD when I actually want to listen to the album.
