What a FANTASTIC reissue and remix.

No vinyl pressing issues with mine... Record Industry almost always excel and its the case once again here. Flawlessly pressed.

The remix is revelatory. Truly now stands as one of Pink Floyds best sounding albums. The og is ok but this sounds happy where the og now just sounds grey and sad. Great job much akin to the Beatles stereo remixes.

The packaging is really good too. The gatefold quality isnt the thickest but its sturdy and the lease of life to the art is super. The booklet is well worth having too!

What was always a record that just wasnt on the level of DSOTM and WYWH now has the sound and love they get! And all for a meagre £20!!!

I have the exact barcode that matches for this release. However, mine has the barcode and there's a gold stamp "for promotional only" over the barcode. So the record matches a first pressing matrix but the sleeve shouldn't have a barcode yet it has a promo stamp on it. Is it possible they started to issue first pressings with a barcode? Or do I have a mismatch sleeve? If it is a mismatch, did they send out promotional copies as a reissue?

Can someone tell me about the value of this one? Looks like its pretty rare cause I couldn't find anything about it online

Have had the same issues as everyone has mentioned, with my first pressing having to be returned. I have also noted a couple moments where the levels seem to peak and drop out. Overall though, the mix is excellent and much more punchy than other pressings (in my opinion).

It’s the best pressing I’ve heard but it’s still only as good as the original recording that we all know was pretty average. Maybe the recording was intentional so given that- this pressing is maybe the purest form. I like it but animals won’t ever be a daily spin. Mine is pretty dynamic but needs a good bass boost without question- otherwise very mid and upper centric.

I have always thought that Animals was an inferior partner in the Floyd cannon.....bought this remix cheap on Amazon and WOW!!!! What an album this is!!! Fantastic sounding vinyl which has really brought out the complexities of it too me. I have been wrong all these years....this is a MASTERPIECE!!
