Beloved* – The Sun Rising

For me the Eurovisionary mix has always been the one i've enjoyed listening to the most despite the original being an obvious classic.

For me the standout mix here is 'Mark's Deep House Mix' - Whether collectively or individually Global Communications showing their qualities as composers & remixers. An absolutely stunning piece of Deep House that although it chugs along for 11 minutes plus, always seems to pass so quickly.

Both tracks on side A are stunning. What a groove! Pritchard and Middleton (aka Global Communication) are magical mixers and producers. They have a huge catalog well worth while digging through. To me, this 12" is more interesting, funky, groovy etc than pretty much everything ELSE that The Beloved put out.

Came on here to pay my respects to one of the best Beloved remix packages, & a quick recap via Youtube links to save digging it out; but, so far I have been subjected to the same unnecessarily long Muller yogurt advert over & over & over again. In revenge, I'll never buy another Muller product again.

Aside from todays insanity inducing advertising techniques terrorism, so great to hear Global Communications' show stealing mixes (Tom's Drum & Bass mix / Mark's Deep House mix) have not aged a wink, nor the ambient 'Rising' mix; just beautiful, deep & quality stuff... Absolute tear jerkers.

From the small snippet of this remix that I've heard, the track is quite good. It's very different from the original. More up-tempo and features some killer insect-like stabbing synth chords.

So only one copy exists yet two people have one? LOL

Simply a beautiful track, stirs up such emotion, everything just works perfectly, from the semi spoken vocal, to the cords and lazy drums, pure perfection, kind of timeless too.

It's a rare occasion when all the remixes on a double pack are amazing, but this one definitely has it all. You could literally play all these remixes into one long set for different moments and people would net get bored over it. Mark's Deep House Mix is my favorite but the Rising Mix would work really well as an set starter or ending. The only one that's missing is the Back To The Future remix.

March 2022 - war in Ukraine and well the world seems pretty fucked up. This record is full hope, all four mixes are excellent and relevant. Beautiful uplifting sounds. Highly recommended if not got.
