GetOnDown did a great job with this reissue. It sounds really good and the artwork looks great too. The color splatter wax looks dope too.

"Guerillas In The Mist" features the uncompromised Cube that Afro-America fell in love with, the boisterous stylings of T-Bone, as well as the more reserved yet still threatning cadence of J-Dee. I feel like this was the record that my father used as a soundtrack for his decision to dedicate his life to Islam when he moved from the D to LA in the early 90's. This a raw album bucking back at classism with the prime target being the least melaninated of individuals on the planet. Perhaps the only drawback of this record for me was the fact that the word "faggot" was censored, as if it wasn't "Guerillas In The Mist" would have been a completely unfiltered experience. Still, for those turned off on lyrics of violence in the classes of a pigmentocracy , just listen to "Lost In Tha System" and see why the opinions of this Mob hold some validation rather than just pure ignorant hateful spew.
