Speed freak is a monster of an (acid techno) tune. It has pretty much everything from that era nailed to a tee - stomping drum and hi hats and a deep 303 build up - if this is your thing, you need it in your collection.- Edited 8 years ago

2 early masterpieces of acid techno by that legend again Dave the Drummer
Speedfreak has a brilliant trip beat to get you started ;) a harsh spooky horn noise and robot transmission throughout the track and in the smooth breakdown which builds back up - A brilliant evolving 303 line that lets rip early on 2.37 then screeches in, then disappears for a while then starts back in again 6.55 and increases to the end. Really for those Speedfreaks who maybe have lost their teeth !!!
Multiform another classic starts off as a plodder with another quality drum pattern but explodes with energy as soon as a quality metallic succubus sound wave appears at 2.09. Around the halfway mark another beast of a dirty 303 - 3.27 rips in and again tweaks about your neurons - then an explosion of digital shots 5.21 ends the tune
2 of my all time favorite stay up forever's beats most of the others IMHO
Where's your party at needs LIVE PLAY !!
Do not accept the incredibly ignorant and poor numb recent remixes of Speedfreak - Trying to jump on the nostalgic oldskool bandwagon you do not know the score with these remix tracks, your 303's are toss in this no respect for the original acid bassline sorry I'm ranting but it's true and it upset me LOL :)
so - don't you dare try it - develop don't devolve - and please don't even try to justify..
Peace and love to the oldskool vibe :)
