Death In June – But, What Ends When The Symbols Shatter?

When the fuck will this album be rereleased on LP? It’s a damn classic and hasn’t been repressed on wax in 30 years! I’ve waited years and fear it won’t happen. Some smart businessman surely sees the discogs “want” vs “owned” ratio and knows the right strings to pull. Shame the only copies of this album are going for $600+ USD (and that’s VG- condition).

There seems to be something up with this pressing of the album as my CD, just like with others, is defect. Shame

This will not be reissued until Tibet dies. Douglas and Tibet had a HUGE falling out so any DIJ material with Tibet has been deleted from the catalogue and replaced with different songs.

In case anyone’s wondering the disc is gold and not browning, Gold discs rarely suffer disc rot., the card sleeve however does slowly start browning, but doesn’t lose its gloss. It’s very likely by design and not accident.

Picked this up on release after being won over by Rose Clouds (the superior sibling). A soothing, dark joy. Dædalus Rising is the first crack of real genius here, proof that both Pierce and Tibet needed each other to make some of their best work. The whole record is top notch though and the pressing sounds great.

Someone needs to reissue this on CD, It's a classic

How do we know this is a "misprint" and not an intentional variation? Is it one of the 1000 pressed on black wax, or did it have it's own run?

Interested to buy that in a price even somewhat more reasonable than the 300-400 euro range.
