Happy Mondays's third album. Released 05 November 1990.
Produced by Paul Oakenfold and Steve Osborne.
Entered the UK album charts at #4 on 17 November 1990.
First editions (LP, MC, CD) featured a collage of US candy wrappers, designed by Central Station Design. All subsequent editions had the artwork altered and without logos, due to copyright reasons. These second editions have a large yellow "Z" as part of the artwork.
Re-released 1999, 2007 as Collector's Edition with a DVD, and 2015 on limited edition vinyl only (again with altered artwork). The UK newspaper The Guardian offered a CD as a free give-away in 2012.

If more than 1000 collectors have this edition, then should be pressed more than 1000. Anyone knows the correct quantity?
Well mastered with great dynamic range. Dead silent and flat.
You don’t have to shell out for an original copy with this one available at a decent price.
Edited 11 months agoThe worst marked and filthy record. A good clean fixed most of it up but there is a fair amount of noise and some very loud. Will try a second copy as the dynamics are amazing.
Ok second copy still needed a good clean and the edges are sharp as a razor - but no loud sounds or distortion. Sounds ace :)

Somebody Can compare the sound of this release (yellow version too) and 2020 ?? In what differs this 2015 version if both ( this and 2020) are AAA technically speaking ?
I have this DFI pressing and have to assume there were far fewer of these pressed than the other OG pressing, only 4 of these for sale and 75 owned by discogs users compared to 40 for sale and around 3.5k owned of the other. What I can say is that this is a fabulous pressing with a deep rich bass that will take your groove back to those heady days...or should I say daze, grab a copy if you can, you won't be disappointed.- This pressing is amazing. I had an original back upon its release. Wish O hadn't, but this is quiet and punchy. A real treat to my ears. I saw the tour for this <with Stereo M.C.s > and this takes me back. Sure the cover art had to be changed but ...its the music that matters. Dont sleep on this.
Why aren't the Matrix / Runouts listed on this pressing?- Dynamic sounding pressing with plenty of slam! My copy is flat, centered, & quiet w/no drama...it sounds terrific and found it on Amazon cheap. I would like to compare it to a UK og, but this sounds so good I do not see a reason to make that investment listening to this.

I got mine from HMV, and it's terrible sounding, each intro has bad crackle/whooshing sounds,
probably from the idiotic spatter pattern.
