DragonForce – Inhuman Rampage

still very brickwalled mastering unfortunately, but way better EQ choices than the final release.

A really cool collectible, that's more than just a novelty.
This rough-mix features a significantly different mix from the final release version, and sounds overall better as a result.

On this rough-mix, the bass is very prominent, where on the final version it's pretty much non-existant.
On this cd you are able to hear some of Adrian Lambert's impressive bass parts in their full glory. Songs like Body Breakdown sound amazing as a result!

DragonForce is impressive and entertaining at first: Amazing speed, epic vocals, the fastest and most spectacular guitar solos in the world. And then the song changes. And you get more speed, more epic vocals, and more solos. And then the song changes again. And again. The major flaw of the record? The inability for the average person to tell the difference between each song. Most of the tracks on the record (besides a ballad) sound exactly the same, and the lyrics become less and less original (the words "through the fire and the flames" are used in more than two songs). Once you've listened to them for a while, the guitars seem like mosquitos that became lodged in your ear. This album, and perhaps the rest, are for true DragonForce fans only.
