Serious EP bringing some value for money. Some classic 2-step business with 'I Keep' and 'Afunkination' - 'I Keep' being the anthem most will know, that comes in with some old school drum loop and then drops some sharp FX and stabs with some booming bass. Remember EZ caning this one with the quick switcheroo on the mixer for the drop. Good for the MCs to ride over!
'In the morning' is a simpler 4/4 number with some square-wave bass and nice samples and stabs, decent tune for your set. 'Skip Bop' has some good vocal cut-ups and builds quite nicely with a 4/4 and some reverb-y hits and stabs.
I don't remember Afunkination being played much really although it is a good vocal tune, a rolling 2-step with strong chord stabs, little guitar snippets and driving bassline
Great tunes and memories!
