Elvis Presley – Elvis' Golden Records

Not sure how anyone can rate this album and this pressing under 3 stars as it's by far the best version I ever heard. 5 stars all the way.

Excellent sounding LP. Even though the cover says Stereo, it does sound like mono(or what they called "Gravure Universellle"); definitely not the Electronically Rechanneled Stereo abomination.

Got this at Walmart today for $20. I’m glad it’s in mono and not in stere, or they would’ve fucked it up tbh. Sounds really good on my system. 10/10

Weird sound to this, I mean the songs are classic but the pressing is pretty bad. Sounds like each track is watery so it’s probably not the best pressing to get.

The very first Mexican pressing does not state "MONOFONICO" on labels. This is a subsequent pressing.

This pressing has a very dull sound. If you compare it to original pressings or, let's say, the Friday Music pressing of this album it's like night and day. The vinyl is silent... but the sound... hmmm.

This probably would have sounded great if they hadn't noise reduced it!

A Boppin Bob Jones cut in glorious analogue mono - sounds MUCH better than the analogue Speakers Corner pressing.

Nice to have in the collection. Very nice looking gold vinyl too. Sound wise it can’t compete with the Friday music pressing though.
