Side B "Twilight's Pool" has an imperfection that causes the record to skip in the middle of the track. I wonder if anyone else has this same issue or if my copy is a one off. The fidelity of this pressing is decent, but upon A/B testing with the Lex1 pressing from 1984, it lacks the detail and overall loudness of the OG.

There was so much better to do than to buy ugly picture versions of Cure classics on RSD 2020... This reissue on a two records set from Worcestershire's band is the proof, with its still enigmatic portrait of "a forest" on the glossy cover, forty years later. Everything seems to be perfect with this object of desire : the sound beautifully restored of the demos (produced by Robert Smith himself) yet sharp and enormous on the original album (Lol Tolhurst did the same), the eight pages inner booklet, the black inner pouches and even the visuals declined on the center of each of the two discs. Everything has been taken with the greatest care. Listening to this, kind of feels like "i'm sixteen again", discovering a variant of "Pornography" that would be as profound but more romantic and a bit less anarchic, which is better, I think, when you approach 50.
