If your not up on Tom Middleton's creditable & hugely influential career prior to 'Cosmos' (which is when I dropped off!), a quick heads up. As one half of Global Communications together with Mark Pritchard, the pair RULED as the pioneers of an ambient, deep & experimental sound which left a trail of highly sought after material & an army of nerds following. Alias projects, from 'Jedi Knights' to '
Chameleon, Link & E621, Reload & Secret Ingredients gave us treasure's beyond imagination.

1999 saw the beginnings of Tom's morphing towards the 'Cosmos' sound; no doubt profitable, & fairplay, but a straighter dancefloor sound miles away from the depth we know him for. Here the vocal mix treads that more direct territory, however the dub mix holds the 'secret ingredients' of choice; a deep, swirling & stripped back dreamland, chugging along with a garage house sensibility while holding back the thrills keeping it sophisticated & unpredictable.

So yes, a good Tom Middleton remix here! & one of the last before the switch in style to come...
