Whitesnake – Greatest Hits

The quality of mine was horrific. Side A had all sorts of hard glue on it - ridiculous clicks throughout - so bad it would damage my stylus if I let it play through … zero quality control

Solid pressing. Love the embossed sleeve and artwork. True to their greatest hits.

Shit pressing / pops and clicks all over the place - noisy, crackly garbage….

Got my 24b/96k at Qobuz. Excellent mix, I kept turning it louder and louder until I was afraid I might blow a circuit breaker, or worse, a speaker. This has about every song I would want.

I have to disagree. The songs do sound basically like the originals, but the mastering is perfectly fine on my setup. I only had to boost the treble two points as opposed to the usual 4 or 5 on almost every other album I own. The sound is nice a crisp when you crank it. I guess it depends on your setup and your ears

The first disc is normal, but the second "curve" - the hole for the spindle is apparently not made in the center, so during the playback of the record there is a vibration of the pickup head to the sides - left-right - as much as 2 mm.

Not impressed. These 'remixed and remastered' tracks sound just like the versions on my originals, a little faint and muddy. And not including such a standout track like "Ain't No Love In The Heart Of The City" really irks me.

This Collection consists of remixes with subtle differences from the original album versions. Added keyboard and sometimes guitar. Nothing major seems to have been taken away. For the most part, these new versions do not detract from the songs as you are familiar with them. This album sounds great on my equipment.

Can anyone advise if it is the original promo videos on this version, or is it live versions(again!). Thanks.

Fantastic press - though this is actually no different than the US pressing other than the 100 years of HMV slip on. Is everyone’s glued on as well?!
