There should have been more official Prince remixes like this one. It shows where Prince could have gone in the 90s, if he would not have experimented too much with the Hip Hop hype of that time. "The Future", along with the ballad "Scandalous", is the highlight from the questionable "Batman" Album, a deal Prince maybe should not have made (see what happened afterwards). So you really just need two have two Singles of "Batman", and one of them is this one.

Two early remixes for the eventually to become uber producer William Orbit in conjunction with Mark Moore from S'Express. Of course genius understands genius which was no doubt why they got the gig.
Ridiculously ahead of the game remixes here.
Both have been features of my DJ box on and off for years.
