What an incredibly strange release. I picked this up used at a shop for 24 bucks. I knew going into the purchase that this was going to be an obnoxious listen: 8 tracks spread across 8 A sides with Shepard's "iconic" art work etched into the B sides. Five stars for content and audio quality alone. One would be better off finding the two LP release of the album proper. It does have quite a few more songs on it after all.

This was actually marketed as " There's a Time and Place to Punctuate" as a subscription series leading up to the release of The Obliterati. Item pictured in this listing is 1/50 signed by the artist Shepard Fairey and was offered along with the CD singles through the artist's website. Another 450-500 copies were sold as the subscription series through the band's wesite and sold out in under 5 days. Of those, a few handfuls were packaged together as all records and sold as "There's a Time and Pace to Punctuate" under cat# OLE 700 in retail stores. My copy was purchased at Newbury Comics and was shrink wrapped, with price tag indicating this cat #.
