Reviews
- An incredible Italo mix cd from Flemming Dalum. The mixing on here is so seamless, with several tracks flowing into one another and before long you're lost in the music. Favourite tracks on here are, Walter Gate Call Me Love, a real heavily accented vocal Italo track, and the final track Games We Played In The Past by Grey Cat, although picking just one track out of such a good line up is tricky. All in all, a good primer in just what Italo Disco is.
- True obscure electro/ italo disco. Rare and unexpected songs.
Amazing. It really gives that underground feeling and a big difference if you compare it with the more smooth italo from nowadays. A must have for pure italo disco enthousiasts.
After listening for a few times it became better and better. It's only sad that Flemming used to much songs which means you hear just to little of each track. But it's worth trying to get your hands on this release. - Edited 17 years agoYet another truly breathtaking italo mix from the Danish man who used to used to traval all the way to Italy to buy hot discs direct from the italo disctributors - and boy were those trips worth it!! The mix starts out with loose funky slo-beat italo, then launches into a full mix of rare and very original sounding tracks, especially the likes of Blackway, a totally new discovery for me. Its great to hear a DJ put out a mix like this which is truly from the heart, he has decided to take a gamble and not play just the "safe" italo tracks, but some real innovative tracks, giving the listener a fantastic selection of different italo sounds. One of my favourite mixes of all time.
